Sun protection for use under foundation

Can anyone advise me of sun protection, either spray or cream that they have been able to use under foundation without it making your face shine or look oily. I've tried a few from expensive sprays to la Roche Posay cream. They all leave my face oily and shiny after I've applied my foundation, even if I leave my face to dry for 1/2 an hour beforehand. Thanks.

I agree with AnotheChinHair - both the Biore and the Clinique are great. I have a very oily t zone so a non-greasy product is a must.

Aussies make the best sunscreens in the world. Try Ultra Violette Clean Screen, I believe SpaceNK has just started stocking it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I would like to try retinol and know that spf is a must. I wear full makeup most days though. Trying to find something that doesn't give me a shiny face has been difficult and I've been continually wasting money on different sun screens.

I was the same. I use the biore watery essence and have heard that the LRP anthelios lotion is really good too.

I'm olive skinned so the normal ones are too think, clog my pores and leave a horrible white mask.

Do you put the sun screen on before tonic and moisturiser?

Freshprincess · 19/03/2021 11:42

I use a moisturiser with 30 spf most of the time as I don’t like applying too many products.

That said I do like the Biore essence one, it’s really light weight and smells ok.

Corsx aloe vera sun protection is great. Goes on like a moisturiser and doesn’t leave a shine or white tint.

I don't tend to use moisturiser in the day time. Only at night's because it makes my face look greasy. I must just have very oily skin!
