Best lip masks/treatments for incredibly dry lips 💋

Hi,

So I've had dry and chapped lips for about 20 years! Basically since a young teen when I was obsessed with with lip balms. I would re apply every 5 minutes! I honestly think it ruined my lips.

I'm in a constant cycle of dry lips, lips peeling, lips healing, dry lips, lips peeling.... and round it goes again.

I always wear lipstick, as feel really dull without it, but I've started wearing much less recently, which has helped slightly and always wear Burts Bees lip balm underneath.

When I did my face mask this morning, I decided to add some to my lips and actually, they do feel quite a lot better. I did a bit of research and apparently lip masks are a thing and a lot have really good reviews, although don't trust the Amazon reviews!

Anyway, shall I just carry on with using my face mask on my lips or get a specially formulated one?

Any recommendations? Would also love a bit of plumping!

Thank you Smile

TangerineCandyfloss I got it from Amazon.

It's on thier Best Sellers. I got the 10ml for £5.50. I only ordered yesterday and it arrived today.
My lips are quite painful and it's really soothing.

So far, so good.

I use lasinoh too, it’s not tested on animals. I started using it while on accutane.

My lips were better on accutane than when I started.

Ordered 👍

@TangerineCandyfloss how have you found the nipple cream?

I think its the best recommendation I've been given. My lips feel fabulous Grin

Thank you @FreshFaceTime and others for the brilliant recommendation. My lips have never looked so good

Clinique superbalm by a mile. Much better than lasinoh. I’ve had terrible lips for years and this sorted them in a day!

FreshFaceTime · 07/04/2021 20:38

@minou123 yey! Glad it worked for you!

I also swear by lansinoh. The do a little tube in Boots where the travel miniatures are. It's £5.99 and would probably easily last 2-3 months you need so little of it.

minou123 · 07/04/2021 21:01

@FreshFaceTime honestly it's the best beauty product I have bought.

I did curse you slightly Blush because I thought it would work overnight. But by day 3 my lips were perfect.
Im so pleased I have it now because the weather is changing from summer to winter on an hourly basing at the moment, and my lips don't like it.

LysistrataVickers Thats the one I gave, the little tube, so it comes everywhere with me.

At night time I use: Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm

During the day I use these lip balms from Tesco: Mellor & Russell Derma Intensive Lip Balm

This combination works.
