What is a comfortable trainer?

My mother says she needs new shows. Her trainers of choice is a Sketchers brand and she loves the D'lites.

She doesn't know if she wants the same type of shoe.

What is a comfortable trainer that would be similar but comes with a cheaper price tag?

She has a load of the sketchers D'lites but she is saying they don't suit her any more. She's looking for a walking shoe that is flexible and durable.

Any recommendations for a comfortable walking shoe? She has a broad foot if that makes any difference?

I spend a lot of my day on my feet snd I have these. They are so unbelievably comfortable.

The nice airmax is not very suitable due to the price. They are very expensive.

My mother does not spend her days on her feet. She just needs a walking shoe that she will find comfortable. Also within her price. Her price would be 40 pounds.

What’s comfortable is really dependent on your own feet. I’ve had these new balance trainers before and they were comfy for me.

Well, that's just the thing. She's put me into an impossible task. Her shoe/trainer brand of choice was sketchers D'lites for years and she has a load of them. She's now claiming they don't suit her for walking. She's now wants another shoe. Thing is she want a good comfortable shoe but she doesn't want to spend the money. When I need a shoe I go for ecco and I love them and I think they are worth every penny. My mother doesn't believe in spending much money. I'm currently in work for the day when I return home she wants to do online shoe shopping.

My mother wants to stay away from sketchers so the 'go walk' is out.

Look at Asics Womens Gel Contend trainers. The last pair I bought were around £35 from M&M Direct. A running trainer but great for walking alone. Also I’m a big advocate of wearing proper socks on long walks for comfort - the brand 1000 Mile are good.

I will look into asics.
