Four months post partum, lost my way

I haven’t bought new clothes that aren’t loungewear or pyjamas for so long I feel like I’ve totally lost my way. My baby was born in November last year and I feel like all I wear is jogging bottoms or leggings. I’ve realised I don’t really know how to look casual and stylish at the same time - I used to dress fairly smart for work but obviously maternity leave calls for a different look. I’m 5’3 and a size 12. Help.

I stick with:

Thick good quality leggings/jeggings
Long chunky cable knit cardi in olive/ochre/navy
Nice trainers like puma or Adidas

Or

Black denim skirt with black woolly tights
Sweatshirt
Hoop earrings
Trainers again

If I need to dress ‘up’ a bit
Fine knit crew neck tight jumper
Midi skirt/pelmet skirt
Tights and ankle boots with skinny heel

I’ve got a nice long navy boucle collared coat which looks good over everything, and a tan leather satchel style bag. Will post a few pics in a second (love playing amateur stylist)

Oversized linen / poplin shirts, blue denim jeans (Next do some slim leg jeans are so stretchy) plus a pair of gold hoops is very on-trend and also practical/comfy outfit that I plan to live in once my baby is here

Buy better quality leggings - try H&M "seamless sports tights" they're not quite gym leggings but very comfortable and supportive (and not at all baggy or see through)

Wear all black - you instantly look smarter

Buy some smart trainers to pair with casual outfits - perhaps some Vejas or New Balance

I’m thinking of investing in some of the Spanx leggings they come in a shorter length and have good reviews.
