Recommendations for chelsea boots or smart ankle boots

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for something either quite flat or with a lowish chunky heel. Smart enough for work. I tend to wear skirts and numbers or dresses. Smart-casual.

I need something comfy, and good quality so that they don't crease or fall apart within a few weeks.

If you can offer me any inspiration I'd be most grateful!

I was just about to recommend these M&S ones which I’ve bought before and love and need a new pair of myself (I stupidly started wearing mine to walk the dog and they got battered in the end)...then saw that they’ve been reduced to half price, and sold out 😭.

It's getting towards the end of the season for winter boots, but Grensons Nanette has been popular. DMs are always popular.

Smaller budget, M&S usually have nice boots.

Air & Grace do some lovely ones.

I like the shorter ankle ones with dresses. Less clumpy (much as I love my docs there's a time and a place )
