How best to style this casually?

I have loads of these types of tops but im not sure how best to style them casually for the school run? I have black and dark blue Topshop Jamie's or leather look leggings but what shoes/trainers and what coat. My usual coat is a navy peacoat but im thinking ill have to invest in black as it will go with anything like this. Any thoughts?

I’d wear them with loose straight fit jeans (hush or me&em have some nice ones), belt white leather trainers and a loose fit coat or maybe a Mac. Lovely top!

@dibly thank you! Great ideas, i think i need a loose fit coat to add to the wardrobe now as mine are either a peacoat, long wool work coat or furry coats! Would you say a lighter colour or black?

I agree with jeans (tucked in), not leggings. Loose fit blazers are in now as well.

@mdinbc now need to find some straight cut jeans. Current loose fit blazer is blush pink so need to look for something darker

Denim mini skirt or dark city shorts would be good. I’d probably wear chunky knit tights and boots with the combo in this weather, and go bare legged with canvas trainers in summer.
