Non torturous shape wear

I’m looking for shape wear that isn’t Spanx or the type that rearranges your vital organs. I’m looking for something day to day that I can wear to work that just smoothes out a few small bumps.

Any ideas?

Yes, try Heist. I’ve got the big pants and the outer body both in black and nude and they smooth really well but feel very lightweight (and crucially aren’t boiling in hot weather). The outer body actually looks decent enough that I ŵear the black one as a sort of camisole under sheer tops (not brave enough to wear it on its own thanks to wobbly arms!)

It is pricy, but well worth it.

Anything, including spanx, just needs to be the right size, size up for happiness!

Placemarking for ideas for when we can wear actual proper clothes again and go out

I bought some conturve and found them comfortable

Another vote for Heist!

I've just received some M&S light control pants - I tried a few different ones and they seem comfortable. Haven't worn them all day yet, mind you, but they look like they will be OK.
The reviews give info re sizing , which i followed, and which was correct - some styles come up bigger or smaller than others.

I’ve got some high waisted, boy short style, light control pants from M&S. They’re more comfortable than my usual underwear!

Spanx have summer weight options.
