Advice on bleaching hair!

I bleached my hair about a week ago. I've got natural medium/ dark brown hair.

I've dyed my hair in the past but all the permanent hair dye had grown out, only dye was maybe there was a semi-permenant dark purple I put on a year ago.

Very novice at bleaching my hair, (once before) but I've never been a blonde and I'd really like to try it. Either that or then go a really bright colour.

I used 2 boxes of garnier olia B+++ Maximum Bleach Blonde No Ammonia Hair Dye. Maybe thinking I should of used 3 boxes?

The box said to apply to lengths of hair before roots, it took me quite a while, and then I did the roots. It said maximum time on head 45 minutes, but I didn't know weather to start the 45 minutes from when I finished or include the 20 minutes it took me to do the lengths, so I may have washed it off too early.

I'm left with this, yellow roots, ginger ends and few brown spots around my temples and nape of neck.

I also put my hair in a bun, whilst it was developing, I'm thinking this may have been a mistake as the hair felt quite hot when I undone the bun.

Please has any one got any advice of what product to use and how to apply it to fix this?
I remember bleaching my hair about 5 years ago and it all went bright yellow all over. Can't remember what I used though!

Want to fix it so its all light all over so that I can then use a toner/ purple shampoo from there.
Any help would be really appreciated, thank you!
