Where Do I Start?

I am mid 40s. Grew up on a farm and have always been more tomboyish than feminine. Spent a lot of time in my 20s outdoors in the sun. I have never really worn make-up and never had any form of beauty routine. I wash my face with water in the shower and that is it!

I rarely really look closely in the mirror but did the other day and yikes! I have a lot of wrinkles and my skin is starting to look a bit dry / blotchy. My laugh lines are pretty pronounced, I have a couple wrinkles in my forehead that didn't go away when I changed facial expressions and I have a lot of little lines around my eyes when I smile. My forehead also had a lot of wrinkles in certain expressions. I also have an autoimmune disorder and so sometimes I also have a puffy / swollen face and allergies give me dark circles. My age and life are catching up to me...or maybe already caught up to me and I just noticed!

I immediately bought some kind of frozen roller and a cream with retinol in it on amazon. It just arrived so no idea if it will make a difference.

Any tips on minimizing or mitigating the wrinkles and best steps to fix this!

One of the best things for helping your face age a little slower is wearing SPF daily. It won’t improve any wrinkles or lines you already have I wouldn’t imagine but will future proof your skin somewhat.
