My forehead has got really dry with rough feeling and flaking skin. I have no idea why and it's been like this for about six months. Any ideas on what to do about this?

I had this over the last year, I also have an underactive thyriod which can cause dryness. I'm also terrible at drinking enough water.
what has helped a lot is Curel.
I got the starter kit from Boots online and now all the flaky skin has gone. Love it 😍

Thanks, I'll take a look. It feels like sharkskin. I've had my thyroid tested recently and it seems normal as my Dr had the same thought.

Thin layer of 8 h cream, overnight. Has greatly helped skin on cheeks, forehead and nose. My skin tends to be sensitive so was worried it would break out but thankfully didn’t. Fixed it overnight

Thanks. I had a root through the bathroom cupboards and found some tea tree oil and Argon oil which I applied to my skin and it seems to have worked. My forehead still seems to be a bit rough but I'll keep doing that and see how it goes. If it's the same in a week I'll look into some of these other creams.

I would imagine tea tree oil will dry your skin out. Its in products for oily skin etc.
Id recommend a facial oil. I use one by True, the Rosemary & Rosehip one for dehydrated skin. Its completely changed my complexion.

The reason I used Tea Tree is because it says it can be used for dry skin. It doesn't seem to have made my skin drier, though my forehead does feel a bit rough, not as rough as it was though. I'll look at that product as well, thank you.
