Walking trainers

So... not like hiking, but full days, theme parks, cities etc...

I've got a pair of white stan smiths but I want something that I can throw on with leggings and a hoody.
Probably black?
Possibly mesh style?

Can anyone help me, as much as it's comfort first I don't want to be a fashion disaster and I don't want the eye roll from the kids.
