Phase eight sizing

I am a size 14. I have broad shoulder. If I measure round my breasts when wearing a bra I'm 40"
According to online charts a size 14 is 42"
I'm looking for a dress for a wedding and was browsing ebay in the hope of a bargain. Several give the measurements of a size 14 as 38" chest
Can anyone advise on phase eight sizing please

i sized up last time i bought phase eight on ebay, bought a 16 rather than the 14 i was at the time

The listings that give 38" chest for size 14 all seem to be the same ebay shop. Might they be cheap copies?

Haven't bought from there in ages, but the sizing did used to be generous.

size 16 was ideal was quite spacious and i possible could have got away with the 14 but would have been tight and when going to a all day wedding was glad i went with the 16

i did know tho about the sizing after having previously bought a few phase eight dresses - if your not in a hurry why dont you hold buying from ebay and go to a store and try one, then go and buy from ebay then you will know more

A small adjustment could be made if the garment is too big. Not so easy the other way round.
