Hmmm is this worth it?

I'm a mum of a toddler so I always tend to wear loose jeans/leggings with jumpers and trainers or doc martens. In summer I love a jumpsuit and find them so comfy.

I saw this advertised on instagram I really like it (I wouldn't wear the top so open ha) but £89 seems really steep....

What do you think?

Hmmm is this worth it?

It's up to you if it's worth it!
What is it made of....is it cotton or is it silk/silk mix, man made fibres?

How does it wash? Handwash, dry clean, bung it in the washer at 30°?

Is it thin/flimsy/see through or a thicker material? Can you fasten it higher or will you need a vest top under it.

If you're going to be crawling around after a toddler how well will the knees wear.....will the white stain? Is it colourfast?

It's not to my taste, and to be honest the second/subsequent times I saw you in it I'd think "oh that again".......I sound like a bitchy snob.....I'm not it's just it's distinctive and not to my taste so I'd remember it.

Yes, this^ . In additon, if you are going to be putting pressure on the knees, you need some elastene (sp) content, or you'll only get one wear per wash.

fairydustandpixies · 13/03/2021 12:33

That's so not me but I LOVE it!

Ithinkhedidit · 13/03/2021 12:37

I like it! I'd definitely have a scout round the supermarkets and sites like Asos to see if I could find something similar but cheaper.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 13/03/2021 12:37

I have to say, I do quite like it, apart from being open to the navel bit.

doadeer · 13/03/2021 12:53

Haha yes, I wouldn't style it quite like that!

I'm very careful physically as I have damaged joints in my back so I need to move carefully so the knees wouldn't get damaged.

Good idea to look around asos, supermarkets etc for a dupe. I do love a jumpsuit!

I don't socialise with anyone so I don't care if people see me in it multiple times 🤣

I’ve had this pop up for me too. I love the print but I wouldn’t spend that much on viscose. Shrink risk to too great and I’ve had a viscose jumpsuit and a viscose dress from M&S where the fabric has failed at seams from movement.
