Another pyjama thread - tops without buttons and bottoms with long inside leg?

The thread title says it all, really. I am tall and don't really like wandering about in what look like cropped trousers. I also don't much like cuffed ankles, though could live with them if they were at least not half way up my calves.

But the main thing is that I tend to sleep on my front and find buttons uncomfortable.

Jasper Conran at Debenhams did some lovely wide-leg PJs with a T shirt type top a few years ago. I bought several pairs but I've nearly worn them out and lost weight so they're in danger of falling down if I wear them round the house.

I buy small mens pjs because they fit my waist but are usually longer.

viques · 12/03/2021 17:54

I find Tesco ones good value. Cotton, t shirt type top, decent leg length. I try to avoid the ones with glitter, unicorns and slogans but find I still get with a choice. They are also very reasonably priced.

FreshFaceTime · 12/03/2021 17:55

In fact I've just had a think about it and I often just buy the bottoms and find a t-shirt or vest top that matches.

Palavah · 12/03/2021 17:55

Autograph at M&S?

Chocolateteabag · 12/03/2021 17:57

Cyberjammies? They have a few in the sale too

I'm 5ft 9 and find the trousers are long enough.

missbridgerton · 12/03/2021 17:59

Cyberjammies. You can mix and match the tops and bottoms.

They're great quality too, wash well and generous in the leg.

isitjustlockdown · 12/03/2021 18:14

M&S has some good deprecates, and offer a variety of leg lengths in some styles.

YellowDaffidols · 12/03/2021 18:17

How tall are you?
These M&S PJs are my current ones. 5'8 and they are about the right length. Bit thinner material than I was hoping for, but soft and comfy.

mnahmnah · 12/03/2021 18:18

Lots of nice ones in Next online. You can filter for their tall range for the longer legs. Nice quality and wash well

MoltonSilver · 12/03/2021 18:20

Mens pyjamas are much nicer - better quality fabric with no cartoon characters or stupid slogans.

Fightingtalk · 12/03/2021 18:36

I second Next tall although some of the styles are dire. When you get a good one, they’re lovely and soft, no buttons and long enough leg for me (almost 6 foot)

Try men's pj bottoms and wear with plain cotton vest tops. I recently got some cotton jersey men's bottoms from H&M - I'm size 14 and 5'9 and the size M fit perfectly

QueenPaw · 13/03/2021 00:54

Next or ASOS are what I usually wear, the leggings type bottoms with oversize tops. Comfy but definitely not.. adult Grin currently wearing a paid of next avocado print ones

Spodge · 13/03/2021 19:06

Thanks, all. I'm 5'10' for those who asked, and rarely find any type of trousers to be long enough.

Hadn't thought of men's.

@Spodge I took an attractive pic for you Grin
These are next and I'm 5ft 10
