Liquid blusher recommendations please

I am not using powder products at the moment as they were making my skin look very dry and flat. I have never used anything other than a powder blusher though. What ones do people recommend as I haven't got a clue where to start.

Am I better going for a more expensive one because the pigment might be stronger, or will one from boots or Superdrug be good?

Also is there a way of making your make-up last if you don't use a setting powder as that is the only downside I've found so far of not using powder.

I ordered a couple of Daniel Sandler ones after seeing them recommended on here and they are absolutely gorgeous!

I use Benetint from Benefit - it's very good, and lasts very well - both throughout the day and the bottle, as you only need a tiny bit. I use it for cheeks and lips.

My only complaint is it comes in a nail varnish-type bottle with the little brush, which sets my teeth on edge when I use it on my lips!

I like the Bobbi Brown cream blushers. Some people say they are too sticky but I don’t find them to be, a little goes a long way as they are very pigmented.
My all time favourite cream blush is MAC ladyblush which I think has been discontinued Sad
You could try a setting spray to keep your makeup in place. I’ve not tried it but have read good things about the Urban Decay one

I recently got an e.l.f multistick (in peony). It can be used for cheeks and lips. I really like it as a light, everyday blusher although I'm not a fan of it on the lips. Also it's so cheap! I mean, it's also pretty small but still.

Barry M Fresh Face Cheek and Lip Tint. Its a cream, and its brilliant. Bought because it was recommended by a make-up artist I follow on instagram, and I love it as much as far more expensive things I have had.

Glossier Cloud Paint is awesome. I’m on my third tube! I use Puff, which is a lovely cool rosey pink, but it comes in lots of shades.

MolyHolyGuacamole · 12/03/2021 17:17

Second one for Glossier!

applepineapple · 12/03/2021 17:19

Another Glossier fan Grin

Nars liquid blush in orgasm is quite nice

PandoraP · 12/03/2021 17:38

Benetint.

il0vew1ne · 12/03/2021 17:49

Nars liquid blusher is amazing

HeyMicky · 12/03/2021 18:31

Daniel Sandler is beautiful. Ciate also has a lovely Dewy range

Luckystar1 · 12/03/2021 18:34

Nars liquid blusher is amazing! I have had all of them (I love buying make up) and this is by far the best.

MoreRainbowsPlease · 12/03/2021 18:52

Thank you all, this is a great selection for me to look into and try out. How do you apply it? With fingers or do I need a special brush or something?

whataballbag · 12/03/2021 18:53

Another one for nars liquid. I do it with fingers but I'm a heathen

LadyPeppermint · 12/03/2021 18:58

Glossier cloudpaint wins hands down for me. I dab it on lightly with my finger then use a brush to buff it in. Lasts much longer that way than rubbing on with fingers. Also check the promo boards for a 10% off code if you're a first time customee.

queenofkale · 12/03/2021 21:04

The NARS orgasm stick (terrible name) is amazing - I love it. The glossier cloud paint I think I used the puff colour is good too... I've just finished mine and switched back to NARS because I think I prefer it.

With the stick I just apply it and then rub with my fingers. With the glossier I use a sponge (one of the ones that looks like a butt plug Blush

MoreRainbowsPlease · 13/03/2021 00:25

I have butt plug sponges! I'll give fingers and brushes a go as well and just see what works best for me. Thank you everyone I can't believe how excited I am feeling about trying a new blusher!

Glossier Cloud Paint I’m fair and have it in dusk.

kirkandpetal · 17/03/2021 06:45

Glossier for sure. I have 5 of the cloud paints! Apply a TINY amount and just buff out with fingers. Add more if you want a deeper colour. It's very natural I find, perfect for that 'no make up look'

Please feel free to use my referal code if buying for the first time. I get a bit of credit and you get 10% off your order. Thanks if you do!

PS. Also rate boy brow. Great for taming my thick brows without making them rock hard like clear gels do.

violetbunny · 17/03/2021 07:33

I have oily skin, I love the look of cream or liquid blush but find that most disappear on me or need reapplication.

I really like the Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks blush sticks (I have 4!), and also the Nars liquid blush lasts well on me.

Ones that I found terrible on oily skin are the Bobbi Brown pot rouges, Nars multiples, and Stila convertible colours.

Justcashnosweets · 17/03/2021 07:52

I love Rimmel Jelly blusher. I use it on my lips too. It makes me look fresh and healthy!
