Comfortable Low Chunky Heels Recommendation

I have a wedding later this year and am after some shoes I can wear all day, as a bridesmaid I will be dancing all night too! I don't mind spending more and getting something better as I will be able to rewear time and time again. I have attached some pictures to give idea of things I like - but they don't quite fulfil my criteria.

  • low to medium heel, around 2 inch
  • chunky heel
  • neutral, nude, or metallic in colour
  • toe coverage (I have ugly feet but also find closed toe more comfortable)
  • ankle strap or t-bar for extra security
  • not sling back, they don't work on my foot shape and keep slipping off my heels
  • I quite like little details like Valentino Rockstud, but this isn't a firm requirement
  • REALLY COMFORTABLE so any recommendations on brands would be great, even if you don't know a specific shoe that fits the above

I find Chie Mihara very comfortable and they may have something which suits the rest of your criteria.

I second Chie Mihara.

Chie are amazing shoes

SummaLuvin · 15/03/2021 13:56

Thank you, sounds like Chie Mihara is definitely the place to start

Never heard of Chie - they're like works of art but soooo out of my price range - wish I had never looked Grin

They are pricy but you can sometimes pick up a bargain in sales or on ebay.

EachandEveryone · 17/03/2021 16:01

They are gorgeous but so expensive!

M0rT · 17/03/2021 16:04

Irregular Choice, I know they can be very out there but they do toned down versions too.
I wore a low heeled pair on my wedding day and I think I only sat down for part of the mass and the meal!
Was fine, didn't need to kick them off or anything.

Esska are good they have some in the sale at the moment

Aarz London is really good. Their flat and low heeled options are aimed at arthritic Indian aunties like my mom who will never give up their heels. Really nice. Love their wedge sandals.

Have you looked on asos?

SummaLuvin · 18/03/2021 09:50

I have checked out asos, and the only ones I could find that looked like they fitted my criteria were these, but the reviews were very mixed. The number of people saying they were very uncomfortable put me off, so I thought I would ask mumsnet if any knew of a brand/shoe that were comfy. To be honest I do think with shoes sometimes you get what you pay for, is a £30 really going to be the best option when I can spend a bit more? www.asos.com/asos-design/asos-design-pleasant-high-block-heels-in-taupe/prd/12171038?CTARef=Saved+Items+Image

I did also find these, but they aren't a finish that I would consider bridesmaid suitable, though I guess they might bring out different colours in spring/summer. Anyone have any experience with Kurt Geiger? www.kurtgeiger.com/women/shoes/courts/burlington-bone-leather-kurt-geiger-london-4443341109
