How can I make my eyelids matte when I do my morning makeup?

Urban decay eyeshadow primer work for me

After foundation and concealer, if you are using them, use loose powder before you apply your eyeshadow. Make sure it isn't a HD type though as other products won't adhere to it.

I don't wear eyeshadow so I'm just wanting to take the shine off my eyelids..

Or you could try a matte eyeshadow in a neutral shade and see if you like it?

I have shiny eyelids and use Urban Decay primer or Mac used to do a paint called Untitled which worked for me.

In that case I'd just use pressed powder as eyeshadow.

Face powder

I would definitely get MAC paint pot

Depending on your colouring in soft ochre, painterly or layin low

MAC paint pots won’t do the trick

The NARS primer works because it basically acts as a barrier and prevents excess oil production. Mac paint pots are essentially a layer of oily product on top, so eventually it will crease. It’s not a primer, more of a coloured base so eyeshadows are more pigmented. It also imparts a colour, whereas the NARS primer is clear
