Mascara for sensitive eyes

I have been using Clinique's High Impact Curling mascara and I am happy enough with it in that it doesn't make my eyes sting and it looks okay, not amazing, but okay, but it's a pain to remove. In theory it's supposed to come off with just warm water and I suppose it does, eventually, but it takes forever. Even after a shower and rinsing my eyes under the shower head for a long time, gently pulling the eyelashes, I still find residue afterwards when I am about to apply a fresh layer.

Any recommendations for my menopausal eyes please?

I have very sensitive eyes and have in the past taken very nasty reactions to mascara. Now I use lancome hypnose. It is a little tricky to take off with water, so I either use lancome s eye make up remover which is fab or simply some oil gently rubbed in and removed with a damp cotton pad. This works just as well.

There is another thread on here about coconut oil to take make up off. It’s amazing on mascara. I just rub a little through my eye lashes and use a make up remover cloth (you can get them in b&m). Other than that Bioderma is amazing is taking anything off with little effort and is gentle.

Benefits mascaras are good, I’m not sure about gentle but you only need one or two layers so might be a little better Smile
