Mascara - come over and tell me about yours. I can't find one that doesn't slip off my lashes by 10am.

Bloomin' panda eyes by mid morning.

I've tried the L'Oreal huge and enormous and massive ones. Waterproof/not waterproof. At the moment it's a Stila one. I think the one before that was Benefits. I tried the Eko tubing one yonks ago when it was new and that just flaked off.

sigh.

I think it's oil in my skin rather than watering eyes but - who knows? Maybe both. Maybe it's hopeless.

Tel me about yours. TIA

@Bettina500 what ever your problem is i think it's definitely the same as mine! Grin

Have you changed the type of moisturiser/facial oil/serum you use regularly? Did the beginning of smudging coincide with this time?

''You have to brush on mascara and then the fluff and then another layer of fluff and repeat''

sorry, should have said brush on mascara and then the fluff and then another layer of mascara and repeat. No good just keep brushing on white fluff! Grin

@CloserClarice tubing refers to a type of mascara, they will normally say smudge proof on and they almost coat the lashes with a tube and set, lots of different brands do their omen versionSmile

The Clinique tubing mascaras are good, 10 or 12 quid. Go flaky after 10 weeks so need to replace then.

When I was younger, I put a dried up mascara in the microwave. We had to get a new microwave and I got grounded. Blush

I've literally never heard of tubing till this thread. They sound great I've been browsing and can't decide which one to get.

Many of the ones suggested are awful on me, it must depend on the person.
For me benefit they’re real always stays on, it actually won’t come off with many removers which is the problem! I also like eyeko

@CloserClarice I highly recommend Doublewear but there are plenty articles on Cosmopolitan etc giving reviews etc. My worst mascara for smudging was Benefit Theyre Real. Which is gutting because it makes the lashes huge. Tubing lengthens but never gets the best volume.

@BurningRed

I cannot believe no one has mentioned the holy grail yet...

Too Faced Better than Sex

I’ve been at work for 13 hours today - teacher life! It’s still as perfect as it was at 5.30am. Normally have lash extensions but this makes my stubby lashes look fabulous.

This is brilliant. I will be forever thankful to Kelly Strack on YouTube for recommending it.
