Any recommendations of where to get decent quality t-shirts - that will cover bum & crotch - to wear with leggings & cardigan/blazer/jackets?

I’d love to know as well!!!

In short at 5’3’’ and even if I manage to find them originally to go over my him, they shrink to a length that exposes my belly button and bits best left covered!

TransplantedScouser · 07/03/2021 12:29

I’m more interested in vests and sleeveless t shirts but frankly will get anything!

Youngatheart00 · 07/03/2021 12:31

Uniqlo do some great T-shirt’s / sweatshirts which are all really flattering

I’m another who tends to find regular tops too short, I’m 5ft 7 and a size 14 (trying to get back to a 12!) and I’m very pleased with me latest order. Reasonably priced too

ASOS do a great range of t shirts in their tall section which could work? Cotton and reasonably priced.

I've got some good longline vests and from ASDA before; good value and they wash well.

Oo something from the Tall section is an interesting thought @user159!

Dirtymucker · 07/03/2021 12:53

Matalan do loads of longline t-shirts reasonably priced.

CoffeeandCakeEqualsLove · 07/03/2021 13:12

Also, ideally a deep v/scoop neck!

I just bought a khaki cap sleeved t-shirt from next. It's lovely and long. I'm 5'4

MaverickDanger · 07/03/2021 13:35

I’m tall and have to buy from the Tall section for normal length tshirts, and they are often sold out in most sizes. It’s going to be even worse if more people are buying them to be longline!

New Look and Next often do longline tshirts.

Onlylonelymonster · 07/03/2021 13:40

I know how you feel, White Stuff used to do a perfect longline tee in modal that was amazing. I mourn that they've stopped doing them and spend time every so often trying to find an equivalent. Have yet to find one.....

Not trying to be goady, I'm genuinely interested. Why do you think t-shirts needs an apostrophe? I'm studying English Language at the moment and it fascinates me that people add apostrophes to some words and not to others.

My phone autocorrects to "T-shirt's"

I’m a grammar stickler, but also a victim of autocorrect! T-shirt’s - there - it did it again!

lindyloo57 · 07/03/2021 16:23

I took me months to find shorter t shirts, tops, being 5ft3 they mostly come down to my hips, so too long with skirts, I don't like to tuck inas I don't like the extra fabric, now tops styles are coming in longer it will even harder.

This is one of the most common errors that children make, putting an apostrophe in plurals, and if they don't unlearn it as a child then lots of people go on to do it as adults (or auto-correct does it in the the PP's case).
LalalalalalaLand123 · 07/03/2021 16:28

I got some good long-line vests on Amazon. Only grey and black though, I didn't see white - if I do, I will buy!
I think Baukjen do longline vests and longsleeves too, more expensive.
Sorry I know you asked about tshirts.....

Apileofballyhoo · 07/03/2021 16:43

Auto correct sticks in apostrophes where they are not needed on my phone too.

Outwithreason · 07/03/2021 16:47

I sent that M&S tshirt linked above back as it is acrylic. I would love something similar in cotton or at least not 100% acrylic.

TransplantedScouser · 07/03/2021 18:20

I should have added I’m a size 22 so some of those suppliers don’t do them in Size hefferlump
