I'm looking at seasalt winter coats because my old coat now has a big hole in it and seasalt are doing a good NHS discount.

If you have one, which style is it, would you recommend it and why?

I want a warm, long, waterproof coat.

I am size 10-12 and short if it makes a difference.

And I've only just realised, from this bread, that my coat is a Plant Hunter and not a Plane Hunter. I used to smile when I saw an airplane wearing my coat Blush

I like my Plant Hunter, bought a size smaller than usual and the petite version. I wouldn't really call it warm though, it's fine for Spring and autumn

Oh I thought it would be quite warm from the descriptions. Is the Janelle warmer than the plant hunter does anyone know?

I've just bought a Janelle. I wanted petite but they didn't have it, so I got regular. It's long, especially at the back, but I don't mind. I got my usual size and it's a bit big but not huge - if you're at all busty, I'd say stick with your usual size, especially if you might plan to wear big jumpers under it, or only go down one size.

Same here, I'd prefer petite but there are none in stock in my size. Glad to hear that the regular size is OK. I'm also quite busty and will probably want to wear jumpers underneath so will go for my usual size.

I have a Janelle, it is quite long (I'm only 5'3) but it is fantastically waterproof. I don't find it very warm, so I need layers underneath in very cold weather. It's great having a hood.
