Cuff links!

Can we talk about men's style here? My husband has a big birthday coming up and is partial of nice shirts and cuff links. I would like to buy some suitably lovely cuff links but have no idea where to start. Any ideas?

Does he have any particular interests/hobbies? My DH got some cuff links with the insides of a luxury watch which he loved and was quite personal to him.

What's your budget? What style does your husband wear?

redtreesummer · 06/03/2021 18:33

Yes, I was wondering about this, getting bespoke ones made but I worry they would have a slight novelty feel to them- watch innards sounds a very clever idea though

Budget- sky's the limit! Not quite but I am happy to look at anything. He is pretty conservative/ classic/ suit and tie at work type

I love Stephen Einhorn jewellery - some of them slightly unusual. Got DH the silver fangs. (Years ago, think they were less than half the current price Shock)

Thanks for these ideas, so helpful, I reckon the Turnbull and Assor buttons are lovely and the current winner. I think understated is the way forward.

I did this for my husband, each with the moon phase of an important date, subtle but meaningful. www.notonthehighstreet.com/carijanehakes/product/personalised-moon-phase-sterling-silver-cuff-links?referredBy=search

I bought these for my husband (for getting a new job)

I like a lot of the brands items, some classic designs for cufflinks.

HiPieInTheSky · 07/03/2021 12:36

Should add as well Wempe cufflinks are beautifully made, I bought them in the New Bond Street store and the service was superb, given I was only spending a small amount compared to the customers around me!

Thanks for these suggestions, the moons linked to significant dates are very sweet!
