Mousy brown hair, highlights usually cover grey. What can I use that isn't too risky or permanent?

I use "It's Pure" in dark brown. I have dark/auburn colour hair. I love "It's Pure because it has no harsh chemicals. The one I use hides the greys for around 10 to 12 weeks. I've got short hair and only need to use half a packet each time. It's basically henna powder and my hair isn't a flat shade all over afterwards, it has varying shades as the greys end up a slightly lighter shade of brown than the rest of my hair. I buy it from Amazon

I’m using L’Oréal root touch up spray. But I’m sort of ignoring them most of the time and have already booked a hairdressers appointment for mid April!

A hat.

I've given up, my lovely ballyage with pink ends is now ridden with grey badger stripes. I'm committed to looking hideous until the hairdressers reopen. I tried a touch up with clairol, it didn't work and now looks twice as bad,.

A headband.

Another vote here for L’Oréal root touch up spray. I got mine from ASOS. It’s completely amazing I think. Covers all my greys 🙌🏼
