Hi, any ideas for a backpack that looks nice for days out and about with the kids? Older so no nappies etc, just space for drinks snacks purse. Nothing massive but not tiny. Thanks

I have a mia tui backpack and it's perfect. I do have younger children but I have a bigger one I use for a whole day out with them, for drinks/money/tissues/snacks etc the Mia tui is perfect and they come in loads of different colours!

I got fed up with going through a crappy backpack every few months so invested in a Patagonia one, worth every penny. eu.patagonia.com/gb/en/shop/luggage-backpacks

Check out the how much would you spend on a handbag thread, a couple of us have already bought the marvellous bag that turns in to a back pack.

Missushbb · 05/03/2021 16:55

Which bag is it that turns in to a backpack, I've had a look at that thread and can't see it. Thanks

I have a Roka Bantry C backpack which has been fab so far. Been using it for over a year. My niece chose it as a Christmas present, so it's not in a colour I'd normally go for (bright lime green) but certainly very practical & easy to spot!

I came on here to say Mia Tui as well but Dexterslab beat me to it. Mines perfect for days when I want my hands free.

This from Sweaty Betty can be used as a backpack and a normal bag

I've always used East Pak backpacks. Comfy and they come in loads of different colours/patterns. They clean up easily so I never have to worry about chucking it down anywhere or drinks leaking inside.

CeibaTree · 07/03/2021 09:21

I've got this one that fits a lot in and looks quite nice.

I love my Nova + Koa backpack. Stylish but comfy, separate compartment as well for anything messy!
