Saphire jewelry

Does anyone have any tips on where to buy nice jewelry including a saphire at a price of around £50? It's a present for a teenaged girl with fairly conventional tastes who's mentioned this in pasding as something she'd like. Probably a necklace would be best, but doesn't necessarily have to be.

kirstytaylorgoldsmiths.com/ Take a look here - she makes all the jewellery herself. There's necklaces with initial discs that you can add a gemstone to, £40 maybe? Gemstone earrings too.

Sapphire for £50?! Can you get sapphires for £50?

I think I might have been robbed on my sapphire jewellery.Grin

Etsy have birthday stone ones for under £25

mintbiscuit saphires definitely vary massively in price depending on type, size and quality. You can certainly buy a saphire for £20 as well as £2000.

jerichospenis VenusClapTrap and FedNlanders thank you very much, I will look at all of those!

This is just a little extra for a somewhat special birthday age, not the main present, and fear of losing a more expensive piece of jewelry would spoil her enjoyment of wearing it, hence the price point.

Sorry for massive link!! That’s Etsy. Wondered if you had thought of that. Prices vary but somethings in your budget

FedNlanders · 05/03/2021 07:43

I totally agree, I dont like wearing expensive items!

I like the moon and stars one and the etsy ones

UntilYourNextHairBrainedScheme · 07/03/2021 12:16

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking probably the Wolf and Badger moonand stars one.

Although there are tempting Etsy options too I've ordered jewelry from Etsy once before and was slightly disappointed with the quality. The customer service was great and I left a positive review about that without mentioning the actual item, partly because of dealing with an individual person not a shop! Ironically my own thought process when leaving a review combined with the item I bought makes me wary of the Etsy items being a bit too obviously "home made"!

@offradik That website has no prices that I could see! Confused
Are the pieces you have bought actually around the £50 mark?
Because they look considerable more expensive than that Hmm
