How many pairs of jeans do you own?

I've just bought a new pair which arrived today. I really like them and they're a different shape from any I already have but I do already own:

5 pairs blue jeans ( all different shapes and I'm throwing one in the jumble)
1 pair black jeans
2 pairs skinny cords

Is that usual? I wear jeans a lot in the winter but not at all June to mid September.

How many pairs do you have?

I wear jeans every single day and just cleared out my wardrobe...
5pairs black skinnies for work
5pairs black skinnies for everyday use
2pairs black skinnies for out out.
4 pairs blue skinnies
3 pairs blue mom jeans.

3 jeans, only 1 pair fits!

2 jeggings....neither fit.

Pyjamas are life!

God knows. Usually have a favourite, currently Fat Face (I know!) skinny jeans.

Now that I've lost some weight I've found several pairs that I can get into so:

6 pairs blue of varying shades/shapes
1 pair black
2 pairs of white
Several pairs of leggings in blue, black and white in full length/ cropped

Please don't ask me about how many pairs of shoes or bags I've got. We'll be here until Doomsday.....

I have indigo jeans in wideleg, straight and girlfriend cuts, plus an ancient pair that are uniquely flattering.

Plus black jeans/cords in three shapes.

Plus white/cream jeans (4) in cotton and linen... some new and unworn, some nearly new and some very old. Need washing after every outing.

And stone colour, and grey (2) and red (1) and olive (1). But I almost never wear anything except jeans. And a jumper... I have quite a few of those too. But I'm retired so my jeans and a jumper wardrobe covers everything in my life except weddings. Jeans are partywear too, for me, with a Lurex top.

@onlyconnect I’ve got a modest collection of about 20 (I think, I haven’t counted in a while...) but I used to have a lot more! I kept all the expensive ones and my favourites and I’m being very selective in buying more. I’ve only made one purchase in the last year - last month - this little beauty pictured, 🥰 and I’m saving up for another (but it will take a long while as it’s a Dior!).

Probably about twenty pairs.

Just jeans, not all the other trousers. Wear jeans practically every day unless I'm out walking when I wear walking trousers.

My jeans collection has grown since lockdown, as I am wearing them at home. I have a small waist and big arse so tend to buy things in more than one colour when I get a good fit.

I also have a pair of All Saints high waisted skinny jeans I held on to when I got rid of my skinnies a few years ago, just in case. They haven’t been worn since so I need to chuck them.

Washed out black/grey skinny’s soo comfy but looking a bit old now.
“Same” jeans as above from French Connection but in mid blue, never as comfy as the black/grey ones, worn much less as a result!
Slim leg ancient Zara jeans, looking for a replacement to these.

2 Topshop Jamie in blue and black for nice days out, one Tu for daily wear, 1 RI which is fashionably bright blue but too jeggingy and falls down and 2 Topshop flared jeans which I wish I had never bought but can't bear to get rid!

4, I have a pair of hiking trousers but otherwise I always wear jeans

5 regular length and 2 cropped

Of the 5, one pair is tatty and worn for messy jobs. One pair don’t fit very well now so aren’t worn much. 3 are part of my regular rotation.

I’d actually like another pair in my favourite colour.

I own 8 pairs, I can fit in 2. If I lose weight, I really need fashion to catch up with my selection or I am going to look a little retro.

Blue skinnies, grey skinnies, blue slim fit, dungarees.

Skinnies are so uncomfortable I never wear them so want to replace with more slim fit.

Just one pair of blue jeans. I usually wear dresses.

4, 2 of which don't currently fit. I have one pair of blue and one black in straight leg in a size 14 and two pairs of blue size 12 (one straight, one skinny), which I will hopefully soon fit into again as I'm losing weight. All are from Crew Clothing because I like their fit and quality. I'm not a fan of baggy/barrel/mom jeans at all and don't think they'd suit me.

I have black and blue Mom jeans, black and blue cropped straight legs and black and blue skinnies!

I have a couple of chinos, harems and otherwise it's dresses, skirts and smarter 7/8 trousers.

Loads, but I only regularly wear my two pairs of pull-on black skinnies in the winter.

I have a couple of pairs of slim leg blue jeans I like for Spring, one from Mango and a pair of discontinued Levi’s Curve.

The other 10 or so pairs I have need to go on eBay, I think. I’ve realised I only really like high waisted, slim leg jeans (other than black skinnies). Lots of mid rise skinnies in my wardrobe that do nothing for me!

I have had a massive clear out and now have:

Back skinnies for work (Tesco)
Posher black skinnies - were for going out may now be for work (Levis)
everyday blue skinnies (mango)
girlfriend cut in pale wash (Zara)
Tight skinnies that are 7/8 (Topshop)

I think 5 is enough but I have halved from 10 recently!

5 pairs in total
2 x blue skinnies
1x black skinnies
2x cropped for summer

I do need more though.

They're the perfect fit for me

I have a love affair with denim, it is the best material in the world and I tend to wear it every day with a Breton top.

Following a recent wardrobe cull, I have six pairs of jeans and bought another pair today. I also have four pairs of denim dungarees, five denim dresses and a denim jacket.

Hm I have:
1 blue embroidered baggy-ish pair
1 dark blue straight leg that I don't really like and only wore for work and haven't worn for a year or so with WFH
1 black skinnies
1 light blue skinnies

So 4, but I only wear 3 of them these days. I wear jeans more than anything else on my bottom half too apart from in hot summer weather so they all get a lot of wear out of them.
