I have looked and looked and can’t find any option better than these trousers...

I’m not historically a huge fan of White Stuff but I have trawled EVERYWHERE looking for cropped navy trousers for spring; I don’t want linen or polyester, and I don’t want either too casual or too smart, I don’t want too skinny or too flowing, and my budget is only up to £75.

These are they! Believe me I’ve looked EVERYWHERE.

But... White Stuff feels very blah to me. Am I being silly? Or do I know myself only too well
and am I going to always slightly hate them because I know where they’re from so even if they actually look nice and wear well am I going to never wear them just to sabotage myself...?

Or are they VERY blah?

I don’t want any kind of fashion statement and I’m not a label snob (at least I don’t think I am!!!) I’m 44 and like to look stylish snd vaguely put together. Would wear them with loafers, trainers or brogues and a nice T shirt. Jaunty and effortless or blah and frumpy?!

Talk me into them or out of them!

Oh and I really don't suit anything high waisted, so these are good In that respect as well 🙂

I don’t believe in snobbery about brands.

If I find just the right thing in a great fabric/good cut/etc I’ll buy it because to do anything else would just be silly, wouldn’t it.

Thanks so much Alli; I’ve had the richmonds before (in black) and I think the 7/8 ones felt a little longer than true ankle length... gosh I sound insanely picky now ... I’m 99% sure it was the 7/8 I had and not the full length but annoyingly I can’t find them in my wardrobe to check!

I have quite a few white stuff trousers and jeans and they both fit me well and I have been happy with the quality. Usually don’t buy from white stuff except trousers. Biden trousers also fit me well but find their jeans don’t wash that well.

Navy chino - from M&S got a pair last year . Can be dressed up or down . Nice material and washed well. Not a bad price either

I like the cut & style of the white stuff trousers OP except for the very low waistband, looks as if it is well below the navel.
The M&S trousers posted by Sassy31 look ideal, natural waist fit (why is it called high waisted). Smart as is & can be rolled up at the hem for a more casual look.🙂
