Mascara and masks

I am a key worker and have to wear a mask all day (not NHS). I can't go without my eye makeup as children will scream if they see me without it.

I am sweating under my paper mask and there is a constant jet stream of hot air from my breath and the heat produced under my mask, flowing upwards. On my last shift, I looked like a panda.

Do I need to go waterproof or will this still melt?

Honestly, can't wait for the day we no longer have to wear masks.

Eyelash dye might be the answer.

I’ve had this problem with some mascaras - but I think it’s a case of experimentation because I have found others that don’t do this, even not waterproof ones. Eg Rimmel Scandaleyes Reloaded is fine, Scandaleyes On Demand is not.

Second this. Whack some tint on them.

Blinc tubing mascara doesn’t budge.

Benefit they're real mascara doesn't budge, you will need a good eye make remover to take it off.

I wear Clinique high impact mascara & wear a mask at work - it's not waterproof but it doesn't budge.

I second a tubing mascara - it doesn't budge, but comes off with warm water. I use this one - cheap and cheerful!
