Non-orange

Can anyone recommend a non orange bronzer for “mature” skin?

I’ve tried Benefit Hoola but it’s a bit muddy. Also tried No7.

Now the sun has come out, am feeling very pale 🙄

I think bronzers are overall awful sorry, too over done.
Get a decent multi balm or tint, that’ll add interest but not orangey or glittery hue

I use skinny tan.
The one that you add to your moisturiser. You can add as much or little as you like.

Bobby brown bronzer is amazing. Ive been following Hannah Martin on Instagram and she swears by so I took the plunge (it's not cheap Shock) & it's so much more sun-kissed and natural than benefit hoola which I agree is slightly muddy looking.

Hmmm... CLARINS stuff looks interesting.

Years ago, I used Guerlain liquid stuff in a glass bottle. It was like tea coloured water and it was damned fiddly but, you put it on with cotton wool and it was so so natural.

Have been looking for something like it but haven’t seen it since the ‘90s, I think.

Kiko baked bronzers are very nice and you get loads of product.

I love this by St Tropez. Gives a gorgeous subtle natural glow....

If theyre looking muddy on you then you may be better using a peachy blush instead like MAC Peaches. I also like Bourjois bronzing powder.

I love Laura Gellar bronze and brighten. It's not cheap though.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think a multi balm is something like a Nudie Sticks or Milk bronzer. Or even the Clarins Soleil tan de Chanel which now comes in more shades. (Still not exactly the most melanin-inclusive range, though!) Nars Laguna Multiple Stick is my personal favourite formula (matte, shade-adjustable, longer-lasting and more handbag-friendly. Obviously works well with other multiple sticks, which are idiot proof for blush & highlight (Love South Beach, btw) but also powder formulations.)

Thanks all. Lots to look up there.
