Gradual tan for face

I don't like to look tanned but like a bit of a healthy glow in the summer.

So I tend to use gradual tans when I can be bothered. I didn't wear gradual tan at all last year, but I might add into my routine this year.

One thing I find with a lot of tanning products is that I end up with the area around my mouth looking paler - how do you apply tan, over every part of the face including around and under nose and above lip?

Tanning drops in the moisturiser is what I do. Gives an even and healthy glow over time without all the faff, and I never end up with paler areas.

Second for tanning drops. I’m using the Clarins ones right now, just a couple of drops twice a week as I’m pretty pale but you can adjust for your skin tone.

I like the St Tropez face mist

ShirleyPhallus · 28/02/2021 14:58

Yep tan drops, I use tan luxe

Also a tanning drops fan-I like isle of paradise medium ones (you can get from Boots). I would avoid skinny tan ones, I found they were rubbish.

I swear by the TanLuxe Super Glow hyaluronic serum. It’s impossible to faff it up - even on your neck. I have never used the Clarins drops but DD does and she often has a rather Trump-like glow and a harsh demarcation line.

I like the Olay 7 in 1 touch of sunshine moisturiser.

I use the Dove self tanning body lotion on my face - the dark one. It’s not dark. It gives a really natural glow.

I used Isle of Paradise drops last year in my regular moisturiser, easy to control how much you want to add and the tan appears really naturally ie no patches. I think it comes in light medium and dark and ASOS sell it so sometimes wait for a 20% off code from them Smile

I used Nip and Fab tanning drops in my moisturiser. Got lots of good comments on my “tan”

I have a bottle of James Read spray on my dressing table which I haven't used yet .
It was on my Princessing list to wear fake tan but I've never got round to it .

I think I was put off because I had to wear a white tunic I was worried about marks but now I wear dark blue scrubs so Game On Grin
