Spring Jacket - please help

I'm feeling really uninspired. I need a jacket that's not my big winter ones but warmer than my little leather one.

I'm mainly out walking in the woods or parks with my toddler so I'm always wearing either leather leggings, yoga leggings or jeans. I'm always wearing either trainers or doc martens.

Those slim fit padded coats are popular around me but I'm wondering if they are an older demographic, I'm 31.

Any ideas?

Following with interest!
I am in the older bracket tbh but am also bored of seeing quilted/puffa jackets.
I love a sort of utility style, not sure if that's the right word, but when I try them I think they are not warm/sturdy enough and go back to looking at puffas!

Also interested... thanks OP!

Hoping someone comes along with some wisdom for us all 🤣

A shacket? Would look good with the outfits you describe. You can get a thick faux shearling one or a lighter felt one, plain or check print. Army green also goes with everything!

I have one of these (I think!) but it's really not warm enough...love it dearly but it hasn't been worn since the good old days of going from taxi to pub!
