Sports leggings

I really want some nice leggings or sports wear to motivate me to get fit, but don't have lots of money. Some places I've looked are £80 for a pair of leggings! Can anyone recommend some good cheapish ones on amazon or something? Or is it really that you get what you pay for?

H&M and matalan do well priced ones

BeatricePrior · 27/02/2021 19:29

I like queenie ke on Amazon. They have side pockets.

paradyning · 27/02/2021 19:40

Sweaty Betty have a sale in now.

TheChosenTwo · 27/02/2021 19:43

I asked this recently, lots of people recommended the power sweaty betty and qweenie ones but so far they’ve both let me down!

Reiningitin · 27/02/2021 19:56

Asda and M&S both do good reasonably priced ones

MrsBDarcy · 27/02/2021 19:58

H and m are pretty good in my experience but on the small side. Or maybe I'm just huge currently. They wash well though and I'm in pairs I've had two years. MyProtein have a good sale on too. I got power mesh leggings with phone pocket but they're too small. I'll return and next size up though as they feel sturdy

Tu - Sainsbury's are good

Nospringchickendipper · 27/02/2021 20:00

I got a lovely pair from Tesco’s recently.

The M&S ones are brilliant for the money. Really good quality Lycra that passes the squat test, nice wide waistband with a built in drawstring for added support and handy pockets in with leg. I've got them in several patterns.

I’ve tried loads and seen to go to my H&M ones the most, closely followed by matalan - they were between £11-£20

Decathlon, Tesco or Matalan are all good value.

Slightly priced are Tikiboos and LAP activewear.

I have a mixture of all of them, it depends on what activity I’m doing as to which I’ll wear.

Sainsbury's, tesco and asda are all good. I think all the supermarkets are very similar tbh.

Nike are a nicer fabric and look a little more stylish out and about. DD likes them better and has lived in them through lockdown. I personally wouldn't spend the extra on them for me though and not if it was just for exercise.

Yamaya · 27/02/2021 21:01

Thanks everyone. I might give the h&m ones a try

I like the gap ones. They have a good pocket and don't go see through or baggy. I recently got an Adidas set and was really disappointed.

Wiredforsound · 28/02/2021 20:49

My DD does a lot of sport and swears by Nike.

trader21c · 02/03/2021 17:15

My dd says the M and S ones and H and M are good I always buy Sweaty Betty with either a discount code or in the sale (still expensive though)

minipie · 02/03/2021 17:39

I have Queenieke and iuga ones from amazon. The queenieke are ok but do tend to ride down a little, plus they are a bit shiny which I don’t like.

The iuga ones are fantastic!! So comfy, soft and don’t fall down. And they have side pockets for phone. I keep meaning to get more actually.

Lorna Jane Lotus are Sweaty Betty quality and are currently half price at £35.

AuntieStella · 02/03/2021 19:29

Decathlon are excellent and the best VFM by a mile (often under £20) - good fabrics (pass squat test) pockets, drawstrings
