high waisted jeans

Hi!

I've never posted on this board before but need some help! I'm not very style savvy and have an awkward body shape. I'm 5"9, a size 16, with a bit of a belly now that I've had children so would like to buy some high waisted super skinny jeans.

Does anyone have any suggestions of good brands?

M&S do high waisted skinny and super skinny, I like the Carrie ones.

Ooooh I'm excited that I can help with this I was only wearing skinnies with longer tops but thanks to S&B recently bought some different styles. And thanks to posting on the what your wearing today thread I have pictures.

I'm a size 16 with a post baby (the baby isnow nearly 5) belly. I'm 5ft 8".

Can't help with specific brands but just wanted to add, the relief of wearing high waisted jeans! They don't slide down and no muffin top :)

Your pictures have made me want to but flare jeans 😍 I only ever wear skinny jeans as I'm nervous to try other styles but they look amazing!!

Am I the only person who can't sit down in high waisted jeans? Do I just need to go a size up or are they really not for me?
OP, I've got one from M&S that are just about comfortable and one from a French shop Pro Mod that I can't really move in.

I have a lot of high waisted trousers and I don't have any problems sitting down although I have sent back trousers that seem to short in the body and as soon you sit down cut you in half. Nothing worse than buying something then finding its to uncomfortable to sit down in had skirts do that in the past. So the sit down test is now part of my trying on routine.

I've gone for some from M&S that look how I want (they were actually in stock in my size unlike other sites)
