Someone else thinking of buying who'd like some honest opinions. Person is early forties.

The second one gets my vote. The first one looks a bit too 'anoraky'.

They are! At least the Jigsaw one has down in it. The Reiss doesn't. I told then I like both (not helpful)... I am not sure about the hood/ collar flap design of the Jigsaw one but do think the colour is pretty.

First one. Looks more flattering. Also love the fact it's made from recycled materials.

I prefer the second but I would probably buy the first as it's a more practical colour.

Jigsaw has my vote.

Out of the two, the Jigsaw one in black. I don’t like it in blue.
And if the Reiss one isn’t down then that’s very expensive, so I’d discount that for what is essentially a cropped fashion jacket.
But I’m not massively keen on either.
What does your friend want?

Not a fan of either especially at those prices. Down is so toasty warm but I think you'd find much nicer ones at gap or even mountain warehouse!

Not overly keen on either. But maybe that's because they are so padded so don't appear to be overly flattering. Second one looks a bit short for a Winter coat, so at a push if go for the 1st.
