Mascara

The best mascara I have ever had was Doucce Maxlash voluminizer mascara, which seems to be discontinued. I'm looking for something similar. Lancôme ones aren't bad but I've got an awful Estée Lauder one at the moment that ends up smeared all round my eyes. Thanks.

I love clarins wonder perfect, I’ve tried loads of them, it’s a bit of an obsession of mine Grin. Saying that though, I’m not a mascara pro, I can’t tell the difference in effect if one is supposed to be lengthening / volume ding etc, so it depends what effect you’re after?
The clarins one makes my lashes look fuller, like I have more of them, so lots of lashes but not spindly thin or over thick either. Somebody might be able to tell me the mascara lingo for that effect Grin

I also like Lancôme grandiose.

I am also a fan of Lancome. My fav is Monsieur Big. Makes my lashes look longer and fuller than they are.

Just in case you were thinking of trying it... I'm using Guerlain maxi lash at the moment which I loved to begin with (no smudging at all)and I had planned to get in the dark brown too for the everyday/no make-up look, but the brush has started going clumpy and I haven't had it/used it for long enough that it should be running out or going manky. So not going to bother with it again.

I've always liked Dior mascaras. Have tried them all over the years. I love pump and volume but I don't really use it for everyday as it's black and I prefer to wear a dark brown mascara day to day. I've got Clinique lash power in a chocolate brown which is fab, but also use a Collection lash surge mascara in brown/black which is good too (and costs about a fiver). You can get both in black.

Lancome Monsieur Big is my go-to mascara.

I've got several other brands but none of them come close for length and fullness.

Dior Pump and Volume.
I recommend this so often my phone predicts it as soon as I type Dior.
I've used Lancome, Benefit, Clinique and every high street one under the sun. Just finishing a Clinique one free with purchase them back to my beloved P&V.
