PPD-frer home hair dye for blondes?

My usual natural hair colour is darkish blonde (and I've had highlights and some darker hold tones through it for years) but in the past year or two it's got greyer and greyer...

I guess I'm reasonably lucky in that it sort of looks platinum-ish/silvery rather than pure grey, but the "flatness" of the colour gets me down now - I wouldn't mind grey hair with some depth/definition but now that the roots are light too, it's hopeless! This is all amplified by the fact that I'm now allergic to PPD so my hairdresser can now only use bleach or a semi-permanent such as Wella Colour Fresh, which washes out very quickly.

Has anyone had any success with PPD-frer home.hair dyes? I could order the Wella Colour Fresh for home use but I've never dyed my hair myself and am terrified. It looks as though Daniel Field and Josh Wood both do colourants they call PPD-free but I'm not 100% convinced.

Any advice appreciated!

I have ezecema from hair dyes.
I have successfully used Daniel Field [both at the salon and home dyes}
and Herbatint.

There is controversy over which is the genuiine Daniel Field site.

I believe it is this one - www.danielfield.net

They have good customer service so ring and ask them directly do they use any PPD.

I know you can have very bad reactions if you use PPD and are sensitive

The dyes do come up quite dark

I had a very bad reaction to Daniel field sadly. I must be allergic to another ingredient as well as ppd!
