New Spring Wish Lists

I'm putting together a little Spring Wish list and thought it might be fun to see everyone else's.
We could also help each other out by finding what we're lusting after!

Here's my list
A hip length belted jacket - either in a utility or trench style.

A chambray midi skirt with rouching detail or an asymmetric length
Slim denim flares
Lightweight jumpers with very wide open necks that can be worn off one shoulder

Shoes/boots - need inspiration. I have trainers and loads of heeled ankle boots but heels seem very over at the moment.

ï¿¡300 for a trench coat!

@FreshFaceTime they've fallen into my basket. Just the right amount of leopard for me. Now I just have to hope they fit. Hate buying footwear online. Roll on shops reopening.

Another pair of Fly Yunas (I'm trying to collect them very slowly) maybe in the creamish colour or pewter/silver.

A black batwing jumper, maybe linen-mix or slubby cotton.

I also want to customise a very boring old black jacket I never wear with some lace or embroidery or something - I'm not quite sure what yet.

It's the absolute perfect amount of leopard! Might have to weave them into my spring budget...

I like this Esprit Utility jacket. I know Esprit not very rated on here but I quite like their clothes. www.esprit.co.uk/p/recycled--utility-style-jacket-011EE1G303.html Also like this trench, even if double breasted. www.esprit.co.uk/p/recycled--trench-coat-containing-organic-cotton-011EE1G318_400.html

That’s a nice jacket Frequentflier

Pigtailsandall · 28/02/2021 14:25

I like it too @Frequentflier

I cant wait for shops to open. So fed up with guessing how things might look and feel and then having to deal with returns

Deathraystare · 02/03/2021 15:31

I am not buying anything more to wear (shouldn't anyway!). However, I am still on the hunt for decent jeans that fit, do not cut me in half, don't roll under my saggy tum etc etc. How hard can it be??!!! Also would like more longer length vest tops. Primarni had some so may look in there when it opens.

Frankinmachine · 02/03/2021 16:44

I’m also looking for a lightweight jumper that can be worn off a shoulder. Reiss do some in the style I am looking for but they are a bit too expensive for me, and they are also handwash only. If anyone can recommend where to look I’d be grateful.

Also in the same theme, looking for a drapy cowl neck tshirt in a nice fabric that can be worn on a night out.

I've fallen off the wagon and ordered a spring jacket from Baukjen, plus two sleeveless tops in different colours. All mine are a bit tatty. They look to be a good fit so let's hope they work in real life. I'm pretty quick to return stuff which doesn't feel right immediately

Still looking for a nice belt and dithering over bags

FourTurnings · 05/03/2021 22:33

Which jacket, Pigtailsandalll?

Pigtailsandall · 06/03/2021 13:41

@fourturnings the Ashridge jacket in navy. There was a khaki one I liked too - but I think the navy is more practical. I also like the collar more. Just hoping the sleeves are long enough, it's often a problem with my height

I also have high hopes for the tops

FourTurnings · 06/03/2021 20:31

Nice jacket. So versatile. I love Baukjen clothes - such great quality and stylish too.

Frequentflier · 07/03/2021 15:17

Oh really nice jacket, though way above my budget at the moment. I am now looking at this. It may be too long but am quite tall. www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/women-soutien-collar-coat-436175.html

How are everyone else getting on with their spring wishlists? I've realized I have enough nice tops, but my bottoms are terribly heavy and wintery. So I'm on the lookout for some nice, simple linen trousers. I bought some pull-on ones last summer from h&m in desperation but they actually were a bit too big. So my bum looks slouchy and I keep needing to hoist them up. Not a good look.

I've also decided on some girlfriend cut jeans - in case anyone has bought some recently? And maybe a lightweight asymmetrical floaty skirt. Might even go for a patterned one to make the most of some of the new basic tops I got.
