It’s a beautiful colour. Why do you want to change it?

BallsToYouSue · 24/02/2021 23:06

You look stunning! Do not change your beautiful hair EnvyWink

Silvergreen · 24/02/2021 23:11

Leave it alone!

ouchmyfeet · 24/02/2021 23:15

I wouldn't change it either OP. Mine is similar and it's only since I've turned 40 and realised how grey all my friends are in lockdown that I appreciate my colour

MoltonSilver · 24/02/2021 23:18

You're hair is lovely but if you feel like a change I think I'd prefer high lights to low lights, especially coming in to the Summer.

JaceLancs · 24/02/2021 23:18

Lovely colour and a young looking 40 considering current COVID situation
I know I’ve aged considerably!

seensome · 24/02/2021 23:37

It's lovely as it is, if you must then go to a hairdresser when they re open, you will regret doing it yourself.

GingerScallop · 24/02/2021 23:58

I absolutely adore ginger hair. My SIL is 46 and she has flaming red hair, has never dyed it and it's beautiful. You are absolutely gorgeous and if I had hair like yours, I would dance naked in the street. For the sheer joy of it and just to show off. Leave it alone please please 😊

Nordstrom · 25/02/2021 00:05

I turn 40 on Sunday too! Happy Birthday to us Wine

JMAngel1 · 25/02/2021 02:55

Don't even think about touching it Grin
And 40? You could pass for 25!

Tilpop · 25/02/2021 04:28

@Nordstrom Happy Birthday xxx

Good outcome op, you have natural beauty and your hair colour suits you perfectly. I agree with the pp whi also said you look so much younger.

20viona · 25/02/2021 07:01

Don't touch it

PositiveNegative · 25/02/2021 07:07

I am ginger but fading... I'm a similar age. I'm actually adding the red back in... Be ginger and proud! You look amazing.

Mermaidwaves · 25/02/2021 08:02

Leave it! Once you start colouring you have to keep going and it does change the state of your hair. Its a really pretty shade of red it would be a shame to cover it.

Rainbows2021 · 25/02/2021 08:55

Leave it you look beautiful! And you've got your age wrong, 30 at the most.

picklemewalnuts · 25/02/2021 09:05

Red hair fades to blonde/silver eventually. It doesn't actually grey, as such.

Leave it be as it's the best hair to go natural gracefully- it's does it all on its own, no need to mess.

partyatthepalace · 25/02/2021 09:06

Beautiful hair - you are so lucky!

If you want to try something then I'd think a few highlights for summer?

Chunkymenrock · 25/02/2021 09:09

I'm curious OP. Do you have any children? Just thinking about the ageing after having children thread. I'd be willing to bet you don't as you look incredibly young.

JMAngel1 · 25/02/2021 09:12

@Chunkymenrock
Omg, I was thinking the same thing!

KirstenBlest · 25/02/2021 09:15

That's not ginger, it's bay. Don't change it.

Tilpop · 25/02/2021 09:46

@Chunkymenrock hi yes I have a little boy he is almost 8 months old, he is my first after years of IVF (I can't have children naturally) xx

Chunkymenrock · 25/02/2021 11:24

Ah! I see! Well you look great on it OP!

FreshFaceTime · 25/02/2021 12:29

My mum spends a fortune trying to get her hair that colour. I think she'd actually swap one of her boring brown-haired kids for you if I showed her this thread. She's been banging on about wishing she'd had a ginger kid for as long as I can remember... first it was her own kids, then it was grandchildren... and we still haven't produced her a redhead! Do not change it!!! Your hair is exactly the kind of hair me and my mum would swoon at in the street if you walked past us...
