Green tinged hair...

So end of November (I think) I had some highlights put in my hair - I have darkish brown hair with some grey and decided to have more grey - then at hairdresser, on a whim, said to put a purple tint on it! I did like it but over time most of the colour has washed out and the highlights are now a very feint greenish colour which I am not too keen on! I don't really want to mess around with my hair, it was totally natural colour before the highlights - anything I can use which will just remove what is left of the tint - and why has purple become green since it is blue + red??? Any suggestions welcome

You need a red toner/shampoo to cancel out green

I’ve heard ketchup does the job but I haven’t tried it. DH is a hairdresser and he said it does work...

@BillyButchersBitch tried the ketchup thanks - has improved it a lot (wow, it smells quite horrible though!)

Amazing! Glad it’s helped.
