I’ve been lucky enough to have been given a £100 voucher for my birthday. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’m leaning more towards bath/shower/body products rather than facial skincare but open to suggestions!

Almond shower oil and almond hand cream

RosesAndHellebores · 24/02/2021 20:30

Verbena here. I am wallowing in a delicious bath brimming with verbena bubbles as I type Grin.

another vote for almond shower oil and my sure if anyone has mentioned the pillow spray yet...?

Littleguggi · 24/02/2021 20:33

I've tried most products having had the advent calendar a few years ago but my fave are:
Almond shower oil
Hand cream
Foot cream

eurochick · 24/02/2021 20:37

Another vote for almond shower gel.

Also the almond body and hand creams are nice

The Shea hand and foot creams are a little greasy but amazing for really dry skin.

Magicbabywaves · 24/02/2021 20:38

I adore the lavender hand cream, it’s my favourite.

I know OP has a voucher, but often QVC have great deals, esp on the almond shower oil, I got a bottle and a double sized refill for not much more than L'occitane wanted for a single bottle.

It lasts for aaaaaaaaaaaages though!

I love their hand cream, the Shea butter tube. Also their Rose parfum. Their almond shower oil too.

AyeKarumba · 24/02/2021 23:04

Love the verbena stuff.

MassDebate · 25/02/2021 07:45

The hand washes are all fabulous - and can be used as shower gel too. I like the lavender and verbena ones. Enjoy your lovely treat!

Bumblebee1980a · 25/02/2021 07:47

The lavender bubble bath!

thelostartofkeepingsecrets · 25/02/2021 19:32

This is all great, thank you so much for your suggestions. I’m excited now!

She's butter hand cream in the metal tube. The best hand cream on earth

IAmJackieWeaver · 25/02/2021 19:35

Shea FFS

kirkandpetal · 25/02/2021 22:45

I had a sample of the imortelle divine cream in an M&S calendar one year and it is exactly that - divine. Scrapped every last bit of that pot!!

Bit too spendy for me as an everyday cream but lovely as a treat. Then again you can get lots of nice bits for £100 so maybe more fun to mix it up and get a few things!

noblegreenk · 25/02/2021 23:10

Someone else mentioned the herbae perfume and I can recommend it too, it's beautiful. They do a gift set with the perfume and body milk for about £65.

Eddielzzard · 26/02/2021 07:42

I'm glad someone else likes herbae too noblegreenk!

The Verbena range smells amazing but I've never used it, just sniffed it in the shop.

The shea handcream is wonderful for dry, flaky or cracked skin. I like their pillow spray although struggle to justify buying it when a few drops of essential oil does a similar job. I also like their lavender shower gel, although it's hard to track down. Lavender bubble bath is lovely, and the almond shower gel is excellent. I didn't think much of the almond body scrub. Their lavender hand wash is gorgeous too.

EmmaStone · 26/02/2021 14:33

ALWAYS have shea butter hand cream around, it's the best hand cream I've ever used, keeps my eczema at bay. The other hand creams are lovely scents, but not as powerful.

And the Rose perfume. Been wearing it in its different formulations for years. I quite like their perfumes actually, smell much more natural than the designer ones at twice the price.

Never been disappointed by anything L'Occitane actually, I think it has a bit of an old lady reputation, completely unjustified. I've converted a few people.

Thattwatoverthere · 26/02/2021 20:18

Cherry blossom anything. It smells amazing and I'm not usually a fan of cherry scented anything

Lochmorlich · 26/02/2021 20:21

Verveine body lotion.
