Today I felt like wearing a dress. Tomorrow I have to work out what to wear to go to the actual office for the first time in 13 months (only because they’re giving our office to tenants - not matter how much I beg I’m still not allowed to go back and actually work there).

I’m trying to work out which size I prefer for these trousers.

I went back to work today so feel I can post again. I felt like I spent the whole Easter holidays in the same jeans and jumpers. I have much more variety in my work wardrobe. I've been keeping an eye on all your lovely outfits though.
Today I wore a Tu black skirt with a blouse from Joanie. I have no idea what I was thinking as the blouse is sheer. I am a primary school teacher and we have to have all windows wide open at the moment. I've been absolutely freezing all day.

I wear a beige thermal under blouses @RupertTheBear had it on today it doesn't really show.

Today's outfit is what passes for dressed up in my house because my hair is not shoved in a ponytail

Sandals - new Treva because given reality I need to got for robustness as comfiness over style

I love the Cos t shirt @Shannith but I'm worried the v neckline would be a bit deep for me. How do you find it? Great cashmere jumper @Sooverthemill. Lovely colour and style. Love that blouse @RupertTheBear. Yesterday cardigan and trousers monsoon.

I’m really late posting today because I got to go to the actual office (albeit to clear all my stuff out as it’s being repurposed as a meeting room ). Which means I finally got to collect the 5 pairs of boots/shoes that have been locked in my cupboard for 13 months.

I had to send the Sezane tops back because they were too small. I forgot that French S is like English XS! I'll wait until I get confirmation of the refund then reorder in a medium.

@itssquidstella Sezane sizing is hit and miss. I'm 10 top usually and often get an XS. It's insane as my red cardigan is really too big and it's XS. I think @EllaPaella found the same? And @ella those sandals!

@Sooverthemill interesting! I wanted these tops to be a bit loose and they were on the verge of being too tight across the shoulders, so I thought I'd better size up!

Nice to see you back @Shannith. Your Cos haul looks fab. I love those trousers! I dream of being able to wear trousers like that, but sadly I don't have the legs, and I have a toddler whose favourite pastime is smearing food/unidentifiable gunge on all my clothes, so pale shades are out for me. 😂

I actually went to a clothes shop yesterday! DM and I met to go to a favourite boutique. Very sadly they're closing soon, so it was for a closing down sale. I'm a bit gutted as they had some gorgeous things and it was a lovely place to shop. I did get some lovely bargains, though, including the coat of my dreams! It might not seem that exciting to most people, but I love it, I've been looking for an oversized but still smart ish coat for ages. And it has a hood, but it's not obvious, it's kind of like a drapey extra bit of material, so it looks a bit smarter. Anyway, I love it.

@itssquidstella i find Sezane sizing really big! A small is a 10-12 usually (in my experience). Maybe they have changed their sizing?

How weird @EllaPaella! I am tall and broad-shouldered, which might explain it? Normally wear a size 10 though.

The camo trousers are these ones from
M&S @toastfiend - the reviews say size down. I’m usually an 8/10 - option A are size 8 and option B are size 6. I’m undecided which pair to keep.

@Greyhairwarmheart that top is a lovely colour on you. My favourite ever colour. The Cos t shirt is not cleavagy at all. It's modest / which it why I like it because you get the v neck shape without the boob issue.

Size down ferociously. XS is a generous 10

@RupertTheBear I be been kicking myself for ages for not getting that dress. I love it.

@ellapella I love them. I know I chose to live in a muddy, hilly village but I can live beautiful shoes vicariously through you!
