We are in and mostly unpacked my legs feel like lead but my step count is well up!

Just had a shower (have washed already but moving boxes alway feels grubby) decided to get dressed in normal clothes rather than old gear.

I think I’m going to work my way through the shirts/blouses in my wardrobe this week. I haven’t really worn them much over the winter, but it’s sunny this morning and I’m trying to convince myself it’s spring (I walked DS to school - the temperature isn’t remotely springlike).

Happy Monday everyone. Posted this earlier and it seemed to vanish so apols if this appears twice! Dress and wee jumper from All Saints (they come together), with white ASOS top for layering. Sparkly flats from Stella McCartney.

Thanks @itssquidstella. It's not masses, about 3lbs, I'm just very aware of it. In the past I've gained lots of weight quite quickly and haven't felt that in control of it, so I try to stay on top of it when I notice it as I'm aware how quickly 3lbs turns into a stone for me. It's just bugging me because they're proving stubborn to shift! I've been running a few times last week, though, and really enjoying it. Pleased, too, as my knees seem to be holding up really well to a slow and steady reintroduction, so that's fab as I'd like to start up again more regularly.

I’m not really sure about today’s outfit. I don’t think I wear colour as well as @Sickoffamilydrama does. In fact I almost got changed, but DD (16) wandered past and announced unprompted that she liked my outfit.

@itssquidstella love your shirt! French tuck wise, sometimes I find it goes right, sometimes terribly wrong. Cropped jumpers make it easier, and I find folding the hem of a top over so its only a small section, and only tucking it into the first bit of the waistband/covering that bit with a belt helps with negating additional bulk around my stomach (which I really don't need!) from the top. Mostly I just shove a bit of a top into my waistband and hope for the best, though... 😂

Really like your outfit @Sooverthemill and love your trousers @OublietteBravo. I think they go well with the shirt!

Shirt #3 - apparently french tucks are trickier with a shirt than with a jumper. I think it’s due to the lack of stretch.
