It’s nice pp can be getting back to ‘normal’. I must confess we have the man who cleans the cooker coming today which I’m strangely happy about!
Still no bloody vaccine for DD. Apparently locally we’ve run out of supplies so there simply isn’t any and people are being directed to vaccine centres. Shouldn’t they have thought about people like DD when they did care homes? It’s so distressing

Today I'm wearing skirt from warehouse, top from monsoon and thermal under from M&S as it's cold today 🥶 I've been musing on what will be left of the high street after the news about John Lewis this morning. I'm very happy to shop online, but I bought this skirt in store and I know I would never have chosen it online as it was a very different style for me when I bought it. It's a great shame for so many reasons, especially of course the jobs which will be lost.

Yes I just think of all the last doses in the vial that have been chucked out. We live a 3 minute drive from the surgery

OMG, it’s Baltic. Put on about 26 layers to walk the dog! Wide leg leather trousers from Top Shop Boutique with a v old sweatshirt, and high tops.

I really enjoy a day in town shopping with a nice lunch so I'm going to miss a lot of high street shops too, especially Warehouse (funnily enough I never liked the look of much on their website but bought loads in store!). Beween Covid lockdowns and Brexit it seems we have far less choice now - I was browsing on Lucy and Yak earlier in the week and they are charging €28 for postage/ customs to Ireland now which is insane so I don't think I'll be shopping with them anymore either.

Am having a good week clothes wise - you lot are keeping me motivated to avoid the joggers!

I have that cardigan in about every colour @Nettersrunboulder86, it's great isn't it? I went through a phase of buying at least one every year from Uniqlo, often two. In my last job, my classroom was only heated to about 12 C (very, very cold climate where the heating struggled in old buildings), so they were a lifesaver. I have no idea what to do with my Siberian Winter clothes stash now I've moved somewhere warm.

@RacheyCat it's lovely and warm. My DP asked me if I had a new dressing gown the first time I wore it but I think it can look quite smart with a high neck blouse underneath!

Work has been so hectic & stressful lately I’ve just been in crappy loungewear. Hoping to start dressing for myself again soon.

I did buy some very nice bits from Sainsbury’s though - a coral denim jacket which is lovely & soft as well as a coral Friends jumper to tuck into jeans (can you tell what my favourite colour is atm?!)

I have a couple of things still to get on my capsule wardrobe list but I spent too much on makeup do I’m being good. Still, I’m enjoying hunting for the perfect things online so I can buy them when I’m feeling less guilty

@Sooverthemill they're straight leg raw hem - I'd actually ordered some mom jeans and they sent the wrong style, but I thought I'd try them on anyway and decided I liked them!

I've had a very crazy last few days/week. Reached a divorce settlement with my terrible ex. Made an offer on a house which was accepted. I've actually been wearing ok-to-nice clothes in an effort to impress the various parties (endear self to nasty ex, look responsible and reasonably monied to potential house vendors and estate agents) but just haven't bothered taking photos.

Today I'm wearing Stitch Fix trousers and an ancient Banana Republic jumper.
