Severe hair breakage- only solution to cut it all off ?

I have sever hair breakage, cam eon v suddenly so I didn't really notice until it was too late. it is like someone took a cheese grater to my hair. My hair is super fine as it is so looks horrendous. I have been using olaplex and various things and the new growth is good but as someone mentioned hair splits up the shaft so will it just break into the new hair unless I chop it off ? problem is it is broken up to a few inches on top which means I go from shoulder length hair to a v v severe pixi chop. I really don't have the face for it ? Happened to anyone before ?

Happened to me. It took around a year to grow back. Its heartbreaking, but honestly, its easier than crying over split hair.
In the meantime, coconut oil. No heat. Try not to wash it. No bobbles.

My hair is the same, does anybody know any good products to tame the flyaways without being overly greasy?!

Why do you have to wash your hair 4 times a week with Waterman’s? Is that what they recommend?

workshy44 · 22/02/2021 20:31

Yes , they say min 4 times a week. I’m not sure washing makes a huge difference anyway and Waterman’s gets good reviews. I’m just wondering should I just go for the chop now if it is inevitable I will have to
