Best place to sell jeans? eBay or somewhere else

I have lots of jeans I need to get rid of. Decent brands all size 8. Is eBay still a good place to sell or has Vinted or Depop taken over? Where do you sell successfully?

I find EBay is great for selling jeans.

If they’re a classic brand I’d vere towards eBay - if they’re more a youth brand or trendy styles I’d try Depop. I seem to get better prices on Depop but it’s a younger demographic

Sellers on Vinted ask a lot more. As a buyer, jeans are much cheaper on eBay - same brands, eg TopShop. So why not try Vinted first?

That’s helpful. And how have you priced them? Auction or BIN? I think I’d just like to get rid of them. Would be happy to get £10 a pair really no matter which brand ( they are hush Boden, jigsaw, white stuff, Levi plus some premium eg MIH, AG, current/Elliot). It’s been so long since I sold clothes!

With those brands, I'd go for eBay - they're more for older people (sorry!), not teens, and I think teens make up a huge part of Vinted's users. I'd go for an auction. Good luck!

I've sold jeans on ebay.
One from fatface that was nearly new, as in only worn a couple of times went for £9. Other more worn jeans I've sold as a bundle.

@tenlittlecygnets not at all offended! I am old. Incidentally what brands are ‘younger’ people’s? Urban outfitters? Jack wills? My 28 yr old DD buys jeans from river island!

Girls (according to my 17yo dd): Goose & Gander, Asos, Pretty Little Thing, Top Shop, Brandy Melville...

Boys: Nike, Adidas...

Yes to Jack Wills and Urban Outfitters too.
