This ByTerry palette - will it be too shiny?

I loved my Hourglass palette but fickle as I am (and tight) I felt like a change. Bought a Laura Mercier palette from John Lewis with Christmas vouchers but it’s so shiny!! I’m almost 50 btw.

Watch some YouTube reviews/tutorials - that’s the best way to judge what it’s actually like.

That’s such a good idea, I’m embarrassed I didn’t think to do that! (Can you tell I’m new to this?) thanks @Ninkanink

I have that palette. The highlighter has subtle glow, the blushers very minimal. I have a horror of too much glow.I find the pale pink blush a bit disappointing, it's my ideal shade for my colouring, but you have to load the stuff on. The darker one is the one I prefer. I don't use the bronzer, I can't remember what it is like. No reflection on the bronzer I just prefer another. I prefer Hourglass overall.

It's a thing of beauty to look at.

@Melange99 thank you - yes it is a thing of beauty and I wonder if that’s why my magpie senses are being tingled. Hourglass packaging is very subtle and a bit plain in comparison. Wish I’d just re-bought Hourglass although tbh, but it’s good to have a look around. I probably don’t research enough Confused
