Was chatting with a male friend today, and he'd dyed his hair this morning with JFM. It looked completely natural (I actually didn't realise he'd ever had grey hair).

I'm tempted to try it on my own hair, which I used to colour for fun, but stopped when I started getting more noticeable grey roots. My understanding is that it has quite a subtle colouring effect, and that it eventually washes out more thoroughly than the semi permanents aimed at women.

Any thoughts?

I think the natural effect would probably be because he’s choosing the right colour. Most men go too dark.

I always thought this was a rebranding of Grecian 2000, which had both men's and women's versions.

Interesting. I toyed with using Dh's beard dye for my eyebrows before now. Most men go that awful blue black colour or way too dark. Richard Hammond for example.

It's only semi permanent dye from what you'd said. How bad can it be?!

My dh has to go a shade lighter for it to look natural. His hair is medium brown but he has to get the light brown.
