Hi, has anyone tried this? A miracle will occur after only 8 seconds, apparently 😁

No, but just read a review on it. Has raved about it, but the before and after photos don't look significantly better IMO. It may feel better though.

lucynda · 18/02/2021 11:14

I ordered it last night from Prime and it was only £4.95 but today it has gone back up to £9.99.

It's in Superdrug for £4.95 at the moment... off to get some!

confusednortherner · 18/02/2021 11:17

I picked up some in Superdrug on offer as I'd quite impressed, trying to save it for once a week. Left my hair smooth and seemed shiny but not quite the mirror shine I was hoping for.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 18/02/2021 11:20

Interesting about the shine. I have curly hair, so I suspect that shiny curly hair is a mythical thing only, sadly.

lucynda · 18/02/2021 11:22

It's coming tomorrow. Can't wait!

Oh I was just looking at this will monitor on Prime to see if it goes back to £4.99 - please alert me if it does!

DoodleLovin · 18/02/2021 11:30

Oooh fun! Just looked it up, had never heard of it. Let us know how you go!!

lucynda · 18/02/2021 13:50

I will report back.

I have some being delivered today! Very curious to see if it lives up to the hype

AnotherFuckingUsername · 18/02/2021 17:16

I used this earlier in the week and while not resulting in miracles, hair is in much silkier and smoother shape. It's also kept its style better since. Didn't use the full application either.

seensome · 18/02/2021 18:38

I bought mine this week, they had sold out in Superdrug online when I tried a few days ago but had but I've get one half price on look fantastic. So now I've tried it, I can't say that I'm amazed by it, I have long thick highlighted hair. I find a deep hair mask or my coconut oil better.
It's very hard to gauge the right dose when you have a lot of hair, I've used half a bottle already 2x on myself and once on my daughters hair. Full price I don't think it's very cost effective, hasn't transformed my hair, I'll use it up but don't think I'll re purchase again unless on offer.

mylovelydd · 18/02/2021 19:10

Tried it for the first time this morning.
My hair is smooth and shiny and looks nice but it's very heavily perfumed. Remember when you get it to unscrew the cap and remove the white foil paper thing from the bottle or you won't get any out!
How often are people using this?

AnotherFuckingUsername · 18/02/2021 20:42

Yes, yes @mylovelydd - it is heavily perfumed (not awful, just not 'me') and it took me some faffing to work out there was a safety seal to remove.

I don't want to use it too soon in case my hair goes lank (which, surprisingly it didn't do - which made it a stand out product for me) so I was thinking about waiting to see how long the improvement lasts then reapplying.

It's amazing. I bought my first bottle from Amazon after Nadine Baggott talked about the technology behind it on her latest insta vid, and my frizzy, dry, aged, Boris in the wind hair looks like it's had an expensive salon treatment.

Frequentflier · 18/02/2021 22:58

Is it silicone and sulphate free?

TokyoSushi · 18/02/2021 23:02

Thanks @grownup2 I'd forgotten about that, I've set it up and on some other things I want!

If you all say it's incredible, I'll pay the £10, but while it's still sounding a bit like it's hit or miss, I'll wait until it's £5 Grin

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 19/02/2021 10:32

Jury is out here, tried it twice and although it seems to have made my hair a bit softer its not the miracle i was hoping for. I will get DS with long curly locks to try it as it may just not be right for my shorter grey fluffy hair.

MythsandSparkles · 19/02/2021 13:00

I tried it and liked it - my hairs quite fine and it didn’t weigh it down at all.

It’s not really improved shine but tbh, I’m blonde so shine isn’t something I really see.

What it has done has made it silky soft and like I’ve just had it cut - you know the feeling you get when you’ve just come out of the hairdressers having had a good cut and blow dry?

It took a lot less time to style as well.

I would repurchase - I didn’t use the full amount on my shoulder length hair and probably won’t use it more than once a week so I think the bottle I have will last a good couple of months.

AnotherFuckingUsername · 19/02/2021 16:24

Update - a stranger and a colleague have (separately) commented on my hair shine today. Plus, my headphones I use for work calls have been slipping off the last couple of days - unsure if that's evidence of anything but doubt my head has changed shape in the same time period Confused.

JustCallMeBrittany · 19/02/2021 16:29

A review I read somewhere said the price on Amazon drops back down in the evenings. I'd certainly give it a go for a 5er altho I don't generally rate L'oreal hair products very highly.

lucynda · 20/02/2021 09:27

Update

I'm not sure what I think to be honest. Yes my hair is very soft and shiny but it's a bit fly away. It's very easy to run my fingers through my hair. I didn't use a separate conditioner, which I normally do, and my hair does feel very conditioned. Also I didn't use any styling products to blow dry, I just blast dried it so not sure how it holds up to a proper blow dry

I have fine, blonde bra strap length hair which hasn't been cut for over a year. It has started to go very stringy where it needs a good cut.

Blimey. I’m bloody impressed!
I dyed my roots today and some of my lengths at the back. So I had to use a sulphate free silicone free shampoo to wash the dye out - I usually only use conditioner as do curly curl. So shampoo only when I dye my roots - about once a month.
So after I had shampoos today, my hair felt so dry and tangled - usually it would take a good 20 minutes to work through it with a deep conditioner to get the tangled out.
So I got out the Miracle water and used 40mls (twice the dose? But I do have extremely thick curly hair down to my boobs) left it in for around 30 seconds and on rinsing it out, my hair had NO TANGLES and felt like silk.
I then put in my usual conditioner leave in and have air dried it and it’s all gorgeous ringlets and shiny smooth (my hair is never usually shiny as it’s double processed level 8 hair with highlights so not dark)
I am bloody impressed and will definitely be repurchasing.

dudsville · 10/03/2021 20:14

I read this thread a week or two back and bought the product Sens wanted to comment. The 1st time I did 8 seconds and let my hair air dry - it was ok, a noticeable difference. The 2nd I did 30 seconds and air dried until the last then blasted the rest under the dryer, much more improvement. Today I forgot it was on and shaved my legs and generally faffed about. It was probably on a couple of minutes and I dried my hair after. It's noticeably shiny and it feels like my hair felt when I was young. I doubt just do the ends, my hair is dry so I did all of it. It's a faff to apply because it's so watery, but it's calmed my dry fluffy hair!
