Jersey trousers

I recently tried these jersey trousers and, even though I sized down, they weren't right on me - too loose and not in a good way and much too long: www.baukjen.com/products/neath-jersey-pant-caviar-black

I'm looking for something similar - smart enough to wear with work tops when we can return but that looks okay for casual wear too.

I'm 5' 4" and a solid size 12.

M&S have an identical pair. They're called Tapered Jersey trousers I think. I absolutely live in them. I have the black and the one with subtle navy & black leopard print.

I'm 5'7 and they're just at the ankle bone in the regular.

You can size down, they're very forgiving in the waist/bum/hips.

They sound good, thank you! I want something comfortable but a bit smarter than the current leggings/joggers that are out of view on Zoom calls!

I also have the M&S ones in two colours from a few years ago - they wash and wear really really well

I've checked out the M&S ones and they do a short leg which is great. Going to give them a go!

I’ve just bought two pairs from Saint & Sofia - the Finsbury pant & possibly will buy a third come payday.

I’m on mat leave so wanted something slightly smarter than leggings but not as restrictive as jeans and these really fit the bill.

Omg I even read that message a few times and seem to have skipped that part. I just kept being drawn to the bit about being forgiving on my problem area! In my defence I was multi tasking while on a concall 🤭Thanks!

I like the look of the M&S black and navy animal print . I guess if I am 5'3 I would want the short length, but just wondering if they would shrink if tumble dried .
