What will this do to my hair?

I have some grays that I'm desperate to cover but won't be able to have anything done professionally in time. In the past I have used L'Oréal casting creme gloss but find this to be a bit one dimensional now I'm older.
I was perusing the dye options and wondered about L'Oréal excellence creme triple care colour. My hair is a light brown, with some natural highlights from the sun.
If I use the dark blonde (pictured) will this cover the grey/blend it in without lightening my hair? Or will it have some kind of bleaching effect (definitely not what I'm looking for).
There is also the light brown but I'm wary of the colour being too dark and flat.
Any experience/thoughts welcome before I accidentally destroy my hair would be most welcome!

I would mix a little up not the whole lot or it will go off quickly and test a small section under your hair, it should be fine if your dark blonde already, a 7 won't lift.

I tried a 7 as low lights last lockdown but it wasn't dark enough for me but then I have light blonde hair.

Test and see, box colours can be a bit of gamble and don't find them the same as hairdressers colours.

Thanks @seensome. I'll give that a go. I would need to patch test too as I've never used this one before.
Good to hear that it shouldn't lift- I have a tendency to go orange when any lightening is involved so don't want that to deal with as well!
Definitely aware that it's different from hairdresser and also from the box too in my experience.

I wouldn't if you can possibly wait a little longer - hopefully not too long before the salons open and it's hard to undo DIY hair!

It's multi-tonal so shouldn't be too flat.

I'm going to give it a go. I have so much grey showing now and I'm just tired of feeling frumpy. I'd love to be able to embrace it but I'm just not ready yet (mid 30s).
Fingers crossed for no bleaching and no reaction when I test!
